How to book a removal with Relokates

Step 1. Send Relokates your move details

Call 07359 724844, email [email protected], or submit the online form at relokates.co.uk/contact. Share your collection postcode, destination postcode, preferred move date, property size (or a rough inventory) and any specialist items such as a piano, safe, or large artwork.

Even a quick WhatsApp video of the rooms is enough for most moves. The more accurate the inventory, the more accurate the fixed price.

Step 2. Receive a fixed-price quote within 60 minutes

During business hours (8am-10pm, 7 days a week), Relokates responds within 60 minutes with a fixed-price quote. The amount quoted is the amount paid. Insurance, parking suspension fees, ULEZ, congestion charge, dismantle and reassemble of standard furniture, and protective wrapping are all included.

For larger moves a 5-minute video survey may be arranged before the quote is finalised, to ensure complete accuracy. Quotes are valid for 30 days.

Step 3. Confirm your date with a small deposit

A small deposit secures your moving date in the Relokates schedule. The remaining balance is payable on or shortly after moving day. Deposits are held rather than full payment in advance, so date changes can be accommodated where the team has availability.

If a property completion slips, Relokates will rearrange where possible without penalty.

Step 4. Receive your pre-move planning call

In the days before the move, Relokates calls to confirm start time, vehicle access at both properties, parking suspension arrangements, lift bookings for apartment blocks, and specialist items needing separate handling. There are no surprises on moving day.

For London moves, parking suspensions are applied for on the customer's behalf with the relevant borough council. Most councils require 5 to 10 working days notice, which is why early booking is recommended.

Step 5. Moving day with a vetted, uniformed crew

The Relokates crew arrives on time in branded vans. They wrap furniture in protective blankets, dismantle beds, wardrobes and flat-pack items, load carefully, transport with goods-in-transit insurance covering the full replacement value, then unload and reassemble at the destination with items placed room by room.

Every crew member is background-checked, professionally trained and uniformed. The team is the same faces job after job, never agency staff.

Step 6. Final walkthrough and feedback

After unloading, the crew clears protective wrapping and packing debris from the new property. A final walkthrough confirms everything has arrived correctly. Customers are invited to leave an honest review on Google, contributing to the 5.0-star rating from 66+ verified customers.

How long does the whole process take?

From first contact to a confirmed booking usually takes under 24 hours. Moving day itself runs 2 to 8 hours depending on property size. Studio and 1-bed moves typically take 2 to 3 hours, 2-3 bed moves take 4 to 6 hours, and 4+ bed homes take a full day.

How much does it cost?

A typical Relokates removal starts from £300 for a studio or 1-bed flat with a man and van service. A 2-3 bed move within a county is £500 to £900, a 4+ bed home or cross-county move is £1,000 to £1,800. Office moves start from £800. London-to-Dubai international moves start from £1,800 in a shared container.
